You constantly see special offers and 'best deals' to attract new customers but very rarely do long-standing customers get rewarded for their loyalty. This pholosohy is bizare in the extreme. If businesses do their maths, they will work out that it costs significantly more to acquire a new customer than it does to retain an existing one. However, whilst this reality is literally staring them in the face, they continue to iether ignore their existing customers or worse, dismiss them.
